Gary D. Emmett

SSG Gary D. Emmitt 38 of Vine Grove, KY died Saturday December 20, 2014 at his residence in Vine Grove. He was born in Glasgow the son of the late Michael Emmitt and Debra Crow Alexander. SSG Emmitt was a full time active duty service member with the 1st Battalion 149th Infantry, Kentucky National Guard in Barbourville, KY.

Survivors included his wife Alison Emmitt of Vine Grove; Mother Debbie Alexander (Donnie) of Glasgow; son Alexzander Emmitt of Vine Grove; daughter Destinie Emmitt of Cave City; brother Michael Emmitt of Louisville; sister April Emmitt of Glasgow; 2 nieces Ashton Creasmann & Kristen Glidewell both of Glasgow; great nephew Aidyn Glidewell.

Funeral services for SSG Gary Emmitt  was held at 2:00pm Tuesday December 23, 2014 at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial and Military Honors at the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation was from 11:00am Tuesday December 23, 2014 at  the funeral home.
